Last week we shared our plans for Constant 1 0 1. We are happy and proud to announce the Advisory Board of the project. From now till the roll-out of the project they will reflect on the plans and content from their field of expertise.
Without further ado:

Robert van Altena is an art critic and radio maker. Since 2010 he has been making Springvossen (AmsterdamFM), his longest running radio program. In addition, he makes series of public conversations such as Gesprek van het Hart (OW). On occasion he acts as a guest curator. With curator Bérangère Armand, for example, he made the exhibition New Beauties (2019) for Le 109. Forum d’Urbanisme et d’Architecture (Nice, F). In 2017 he wrote the book The Fifth Line with painter Steven Aalders on the basis of conversations he had with Steven Aalders about art, in particular abstract painting and its relationship to the world.

Ben van Berkel

Ben van Berkel has lectured and taught at many architectural schools around the world. Currently he holds the Kenzo Tange Visiting Professor's Chair at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. In 2018 he founded UNSense, an Arch Tech company based in Amsterdam that designs and integrates human-centric tech solutions for the built environment.

In 1998, she joined UNStudio and worked with Ben van Berkel and Caroline Bos on the publication of their architectural theories and projects, coordinating several international exhibitions for UNStudio. In 2011, Machteld joined UNStudio's Board of Directors. As Director of Communications, she coordinates a multidisciplinary, international and growing team, overseeing the studio’s business development, PR activities, digital communication, internal knowledge sharing and new business ventures.
