With the passing of 2015 and the arrival of 2016, we are also saying goodbye to two esteemed members of our board and welcoming two new members.
With another bussy year ahead for Fondation Constant both Cor van der Zwan and Ludo van Halem saw their work schedules overflow and decided to step back from the board of Fondation Constant. Cor van der Zwan is founding partner at Van der Zwan & Partners and Ludo van Halem is curator 20th century at the Rijksmuseum, a member of the Advisory Committe of the PBCF and curator of the exhibition Constant. Spelen met ruimte en kleur. Van Cobra tot New Babylon, opening at the Cobra museum Amstelveen spring 2016 as a double bill with the New Babylon exhibition at the Gemeentemuseum.
Both Ludo and Cor will be greatly missed at Fondation Constant. We are grateful for the passion, dedication, knowledge, humour, time and energy they have given the foundation over the last couple of years. They have helped build Fondation Constant from scratch and we can honestly say that we could not have done it without them.
But every goodbye is followed by a hello. So we are honoured to welcome Paul Schnabel and Dolf Broekhuizen as new members of the board this year. We feel that with mr Schnabel's extensive experience, knowledge and background and mr Broehuizen's knowledge on architecture they will provide an invaluable addition to our board. We would like to thank both of them for their decision to dedicate their time to Fondation Constant.
