The signatures and date has been printed in mirror image. As is characteristic of Constant's work he has placed several animals in the artist's studio.

Both of them fervent dog afficionados, they called this print Kynophilos. Derived from the Greek word "kyno" meaning dog, and "philos" meaning lover.
