Episode 19, 14 May with Bart Rutten. In the 1950s, Cobra artist Constant Nieuwenhuys imagined a new world, without possessions or war, in which everyone was free to play and travel. He called this art project of a utopian world New Babylon. In the Kunstmuseum Den Haag, 75 years later, international artists now imagine their ideal, different world. Director of the Centraal Museum Bart Rutten travels with them in their imagination.

On the occasion of the exhibition New New Babylon – Visions for Another Tomorrow at Kunstmuseum Den Haag on Saturday [29 March - 31 August 2025] and the book Playing Constant, the final part of the Constant 101 project that will be published by Jap Sam Books in June, a pre-publication of Zippora Elder’s essay Constant Spelen was published on the Mister Motley website.

On January 16, 2024, the artwork received the status of 'municipal monument': a special occurrence, because, as the article states, artworks in the public space don't receive such a status all too often.
