Verf

Verf brings together the work of fourteen Dutch painters. Organised by five themes - the material, the source, the illusion, the image and the history - several aspects of painting are uncovered. Starting point for the exhibition is the book Verf: Hedendaagse schilders over hun werk by Hans den Hartog Jager. The book provides an extraordinary view into the imagination of some of the best painters in the Netherlands of the last fifty years. The exhibition shows work by Armando, Rob Borza, Constant, Marlene Dumas, Ger van Elk, Daan van Golden, Rob van Koningsbruggen, Lucassen, Marc Mulders, Michael Readecker, Charlotte Schleiffert, Emo Verkerk, Co Westerik and Rob Zandvliet.
