Parijs — Stad van de moderne kunst 1900-1960

For this exhibition, the prestigious Centre Pompidou in Paris made forty masterpieces available especially for the Kunstmuseum Den Haag. Famous masterpieces by Kandinsky, Brancusi, Picasso, Matisse, Miró, Giacometti, Léger, Braque and Delaunay, among others, could be admired at the exhibition. It highlighted the period 1900-1960 in which Paris was one of the most prominent art cities in Europe, and also provided a unique, Dutch perspective on the period.
