Dutch Art in Detail is one of the most beautiful books ever made about Dutch art. It presents 100 Dutch masterpieces through the ages in great detail. The artworks can all be admired in Dutch art collections.
Each piece is presented over 8 pages. After a descriptive text from a director, curator or other collection manager, who has also selected the artwork in question, the piece is then presented and described using carefully chosen details and other relevant images. This creates a unique picture book depicting the visual art that has developed over six centuries in the area that currently forms the Netherlands.
Available in English and in Dutch.
