* Constant gave this title in 1956. While in 1956 the term "Zigeuner" (Gypsie) was common, we would now speak of Roma or Sinti to denote people of that particulal cultural or ethnic group.

The original Pivoting Construction's dimensions were: 396 x 95 x 86 cm
The executed construction suffered severe damaged from being located several time. The parts of the sculpture are currently in the collection of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. The possibility of making a reconstruction based on the scale model is being considered.
