Ploegstoffen are reknown as is the weaving mill de Ploeg in Bergeijk. But only a handful of people know that Bergeijk is also the origin of world famous furniture. Furniture by Martin Visser, Constant Nieuwenhuys and even Gerrit Rietveld. Together with Spectrum Design and Gerrit Rietveld Museum De Acht Zaligheden tells a special Kempisch tale.

All over the Netherlands the birth of De Stijl 100 years ago is celebrated. Here in Kempen Brabant we shine the lime light on Weverij De Ploeg, the monumental factory of Rietveld. The factory has been beautifully restored last year and is open for visitors.
