For the exhibition Nieuw Beelden at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam in 1965, Constant and (Nic) Tummers developed the construction T-T √2 circuit. The circuit is designed as a climbing frame for adults that sparks man’s slumbering creativity, or at least their playfulness. The T-T√2 circuit was provided with a set of directions for the installation. Amongst other things, it stated that the entrance and exit were the same in order to "encourage collisions."
Like the Door Labyrinth (Deurenlabyrint) and the Ludic Stairs (Ludieke trap), this project was an immersive experience avant-la-lettre. With this project, Constant and his colleagues tried to let the visitor experience playfulness, instead of observing it in art.
